Photography is a passion I discovered at university, pursued throughout my years in London, then found revitalised by the beauty of the countryside and coastline where I now live in West Dorset.

This collection stretches from my initial experiments with chiaroscuro and the urban context, through my many travels overseas, to my move to Dorset, where the organic and fluid shapes and shades of nature began to replace the hard lines and monochrome imagery of the city. Whether in the countryside, the coast or the city, I love to capture an enigmatic energy and beauty in my everyday encounters.  I find so often that further scrutiny of the images rewards one with the often-hidden structures, patterns and dynamics inherent in our surroundings.

Over the last few years I have focused on generating new work and mining my huge archive to create exhibitions, discovering that the greatest reward for one's endeavours comes when other people like your work enough to put it on their walls.  So, do please get in touch if you are interested in adding any of these images to yours.
